Scislow Raises Needed Dollars For Children's Crisis Nursery

Jeff Scislow, Realtor with RE/MAX Results, returned last week from a real estate retreat held in Monticello, MN. The two-day retreat, which is held each year, is designed to educate real estate agents on a variety of business related topics as well as raise money for the Children’s Crisis Nursery in Minneapolis.

The Children’s Crisis Nursery offers services to any family that is in crisis or under extreme stress and whose children are at immediate risk of abuse and/or neglect. The Nursery is a non-profit organization that provides its services immediately, safely and free of charge. The retreat raised over $7000 this year for the Crisis Nursery.

The money was raised by auctioning off several top producing real estate agents such as Scislow. The highest bidder then chose which agent they wished to “shadow” for one day. Shadowing involves following an agent throughout an entire day to see what they do and how they do it.

The retreat attendees bid up to $1000 for the opportunity to spend one day with one of the top producers, thus enabling them to learn a great deal with respect to improving their own business. Scislow, who agreed to donate two days, raised $1850 in bids for the Children’s Crisis Nursery.

In addition to the auction, Scislow was the kickoff speaker for the retreat where he instructed agents on business profitability, team building, technology and visionary changes in real estate.
