Scislow named ‘Super Agent 2003’

Jeff Scislow, Realtor with RE/MAX Results, has been named a “Super Real Estate Agent for 2003” by Mpls-St.Paul Magazine in their Nov 2003 issue.

Scislow was one of a small percentage of agents selected for the award. To receive the award an agent had to have been strongly recommended by homebuyers (or sellers) who have worked with them. Nominees were checked for disciplinary actions and were screened by a panel of real estate industry experts.

18,800 nomination ballots were mailed out to individuals including 7500 to recent homebuyers, 1300 to metropolitan mortgage and title companies and 5000 each to subscribers of Mpls – St.Paul Magazine and Twin Cities Business Monthly.

Each respondent was asked to nominate real estate agents who they knew through personal experience and to assess them according to six criteria: integrity, knowledge, communication skills, closing preparation, professionalism and overall customer service.

Each nominated agent was screened against the licensing database at the Minnesota Department of Commerce to ensure that each held a valid real estate license and has had no enforcement actions. Those passing this screening were then reviewed by a Blue Panel of twenty industry experts. Comments provided by the panel were incorporated into the final score for each agent to arrive at the final list of agents.

Safeguards were built into the Blue Ribbon review process to reduce the ability of panel members to influence the composition of the list on the basis of affiliations with any real estate brokerage.

This years Super Real Estate Agents represent less than 3 percent of the licensed real estate agents in Minnesota. Perhaps not surprisingly, more than half of all the nominators of the Super Agents indicated that the personal integrity was the number one attribute that they looked for in selecting an agent.
