Mar 17, 2003
Jeff Scislow, Realtor with RE/MAX Results in Apple Valley, has been named 2003 Businessman of the Year for the State of Minnesota by the Business Advisory Council and the National Republican Congressional Committee.
The award is given to top U.S. business leaders who have successfully integrated business and financial success with the support of Republican issues like tax cuts, economic growth and decreased government regulation.
In 2002, American businesses faced a roller-coaster ride. Scislow, an influential community leader, was singled out to receive this prestigious award because of his unselfish commitment to the Business Advisory Council and for standing strong in the face of economic adversity in 2002. His willingness to share his insight and expertise on key economic issues with the Republican leadership gave the party the edge they needed to forge a true working partnership between business and government.
