Scislow Focuses on "Kids in Need" at Realtor Conference

Jeff Scislow, Realtor with RE/MAX Results, was one of 12 STAR instructors at an intensive real estate retreat held at the Riverwood Conference Center in Monticello, MN on Dec 12-13. The retreat had a two-fold purpose: to train numerous real estate agents through a variety of workshops and to donate all the proceeds from the conference to children in need.

Real estate agents came from as far away as Rhode Island to hear 12 of the top real estate agents in Minnesota conduct various sessions on how to improve their service and results to their clients. At the conclusion of the retreat, the STARS, who each average in excess of $12 million in annual sales volume, were “auctioned” off to the attendees. The highest bidder for each STAR won the opportunity to “shadow”, (or follow around) for one day that particular STAR,
to see how they conduct their business.

When the auction was complete over $8500 was raised for the Minneapolis Crisis Nursery and the Children’s Cancer Research Fund. The retreat was directed by Nancy Argo of Edina Realty and Rick Olson Seminars, and was sponsored by Walsh Title and Real Estate Services, Inc.

The 12 STARS were from Edina Realty (Nancy Argo, Sue Klempp, Sandy Patterson, Kevin Ries and Patricia Stevens), Burnet Realty (Barry Berg, Jim Hermes, Jeff Martineau), Shores and More (Bruce Larson), and RE/MAX (Dave Christensen, Trudy Wasson and Jeff Scislow).
